I'm trying to come back. I'm trying to write something, I am. I was never meant to plunge thirty-seven point five hours a week into work, it mutes everything in me that should be riotous. When asked for advice on overcoming an inability to put words on a page, Neil Gaiman tends to answer that one either writes or does not, and if one is a writer one writes.  It is that simple. In that case, I am no writer.  Perhaps I never was. If there's nothing up here by the end of September, I will close this page and the old one and find a new lie to tell myself. Wish me luck, and in case nothing comes out, thank you for reading.

Well... That was a nice surprise
